The “Prix International de l’INSERM” is awarded to Denis Duboule for his scientific career
As a specialist in developmental genetics, Denis Duboule is a pioneer in research on Hox genes, the "architect" genes which orchestrate the development of limbs and organs. His discovery of Hox genes in mammals has allowed the development of a entire area of active research. Denis Duboule is currently professor at the University of Geneva and at the EPFL.
