Prof. Emi Nagoshi Joins Azure Cell Therapies as Chair of Scientific Advisory Board

We are thrilled to share that Prof. Emi Nagoshi, a member of our department, is playing a leading role in the newly launched biotech startup Azure Cell Therapies. Co-founded by Bilal Fares (CEO) and Prof. Karl-Heinz Krause(CSO), the company is developing next-generation cell therapies for Parkinson’s disease, building on cutting-edge research from the University of Geneva.

Prof. Nagoshi is not only Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board, but also a key scientific collaborator in Azure’s first therapeutic development program.

This exciting venture has just reached a major milestone: Azure Cell Therapies has been awarded a CHF 650,000 grant from Innosuisse, Switzerland’s innovation agency, to accelerate its preclinical development efforts.
