We distribute wild green hydras (Hydra viridissima) at any time during the school year. We also provide brine shrimp eggs (Artemia salina) upon request to feed the hydras.
We manage orders on a case-by-case basis depending on the status of the culture; therefore, you are asked to specify the desired quantity. We will do our best to meet your needs, but we cannot guarantee the number of hydras you request.
Important: please order at least 15 days in advance.

The hydras are sent by priority mail - delivery on Tuesdays and within Switzerland only.

Please note that Hydra shipments will be suspended from June 30th to September 1st 2025 due to the summer break. Deliveries will resume during the week of September 8th (shipping on 08 and delivery to the institution on 09th of september).
