The Nature magazine publishes this year a Nature Index Innovation, in which the University of Geneva is ranked 21st in the world. UNIGE is even ranked first institution in Switzerland and third out of the United States, after the Weizmann Institute of Science of Rehovot in Israel (ranked 6th) and the University of Strasbourg (16th).
This spectacular ranking arouses the enthusiasm of Rector Yves Flückiger who reports on Twitter: "L'UNIGE, un pôle d'innovation au cœur de la Cité pour le canton, la région et toute la Suisse"!
