An HFSP grant to study reptilian coloration

The Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP - https://www.hfsp.org) supports novel, innovative and interdisciplinary basic research focused on elucidating the complex mechanisms of living organisms.

An international team including Athanasia Tzika at the LANE, Benjamin Palmer (Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel) and led by Devi Stuart-Fox (Melbourne University, Australia) has been awarded a prestigious HFSP research grant to investigate the development of structural and pigmentary colours in reptiles. HFSP Research Grants are highly competitive: 25 projects were selected this year out of 560 applications.
